I have been terrified of dentists my whole life. I usually need a prescription for Valium before my appointments (take the night before and then right before appt). I have also always had Nitrous oxide during work being done. Always.
This is the first dentist that I didn’t need either. After just moving from Vancouver to Ottawa, I found Trillium at the downtown location. Thank goodness.
At first I didn’t use Nitrous oxide because the mask wouldn’t fit with the dentists access. Although I wasn’t initially happy about that, it was totally fine. He explained everything he was doing and checked in with me.
Second appt was a root canal. It was much less invasive than I remember the last time I had one years ago
Went in using a camera and A tiny incision. So impressed.
Just had my third appointment today , which was quick and painless as usual, and have my 4th appointment booked for a cleaning now that the big stuff is out of the way.
All staff here are fantastic. From the front desk (they know what day I can come in and email me upcoming available days and times..) to assistants to the dentist. Highly recommend .
